After the 30 minutes, the teabag paper is applied on the nails and smoothened out using a brush. After that, the teabag is made to lie flat on the nail as filing is done in the direction of the slit.
After the filing, another top coat layer of nail polish is applied on the teabag paper and given sufficient time to dry.
Once it has thoroughly dried, socks can be put on, and one can resume his/ her activity.
5. Seeking Medical Attention
Severe toenail cracks usually occur at times. Cracks are said to be severe when they extend beyond the nail bed. The first thing that should be done when a severe crack occurs is to cover the affected nail by applying pressure on it until bleeding stops. An antibiotic should then be used on the toenail, and the nail should then be given more time to dry. If this does not stop the bleeding, one should seek medical attention immediately.
